The Smoothest Street View Drive Yet

There have been a few apps over the years that allow you to create animated drives using a series of Street View images. Street View Hyperlapse is the smoothest one yet.

Street View Hyperlapse uses Hyperlapse.js, Three.js, GSVPano.js, and the Google Maps API to create really smooth animated Street View movies. Users of Street View Hyperlapse can search for any location with Google Street View coverage. All you then need to do is drop two map markers for the start and end of your drive and then press 'create'.

What's more all the source code is available on Github so you can even play with the code to create higher frame rates, better image quality, and more complicated camera movements.

I love this, this is really neat. But the speed of it is way too fast for me. Is there any way to slow it down at a regular pace or speed? Other than that, this is a very nice creation made. And please get back to me as soon as you can. Thanks a lot now.

Hi Jordan, The link to the code for the app on GitHub is in the review above.

If you want to play about with the settings you can always play with the code.

I think the creators of this website would do well to have a speed setting, even if only slow-fast. I know nothing about coding so having a link to the code is worthless to me.

Dammit Jim! I'm a biologist, not a coder! :)
